Rodmarton Pillowtop Mattress
Woolroom · £2,399
Worth being NRY provisional
The pillowtop one: 1,400 hand-nested calico pocket springs under a sewn-on upper layer, so you get a softer surface without the mattress itself going soft. Wool through the fill regulates temperature and moves moisture, which is the argument for natural fibre over foam in a warm bedroom. Fifteen years against manufacturing defects.
- For
- Someone who wants a soft surface over a supportive mattress rather than a soft mattress.
- Not for
- Anyone who turns a mattress regularly: a pillowtop only works one way up.

Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
