Nice, but provisional
Acrylic rope woven round an aluminium frame, by Studio Segers for Vincent Sheppard, and the rope is the interesting part: acrylic is dyed before it is spun, so it holds colour in sun far better than the PVC weaves it resembles, and Vincent Sheppard rate the sofa to stay outdoors year round. It is 195cm of genuinely deep seating. At £2,740 the cushions are still the thing that dates first, and no rope sofa can be refinished.
