Worth being NRY provisional
£2,819 for a tri-laser carrying Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG, which is the complete set of formats and more than any other projector here manages apart from the ultra-short-throw Hisense. It throws at 0.9 to 1.5 times the screen width with a lens shift of plus or minus 105%, and that combination is what decides whether it goes where your room allows rather than where the screen dictates. Treat the brightness superlative with care: two cheaper projectors here, the Optoma UHD38X and the Epson EH-TW840, are specified at 4,000 lumens.
- For
- Someone fitting a projector into a room that was not designed for one, who wants every HDR format covered.
- Not for
- Anyone whose room needs a long throw. This wants 0.9 to 1.5 times the screen width.
What we checked
- Accepts Dolby Vision alongside HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG. Richer Sounds

- A 0.9 to 1.5 throw ratio, so it sits closer than a standard-throw projector. Richer Sounds
- 3,500 specified lumens from a laser light source. Richer Sounds
Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
