Made in Turkey with low-twist yarn, which is the construction trick worth understanding: twisting cotton less leaves the fibres more open, so the towel feels fluffier and absorbs faster at a lower weight than a tightly twisted one would need. The rib is structural as well as decorative. At £21 it is the cheapest towel here from a premium house and the one whose construction is doing the most work.
