PRX 40mm
Tissot · £335
Worth being NRY provisional
An integrated-bracelet steel watch with a sapphire crystal and 100m of water resistance, for £335. The integrated bracelet is the design everybody wants and normally costs several times this, and Tissot got there first among the affordable Swiss. It runs on quartz, which at this price is the honest answer rather than a compromise: a mechanical movement here would cost the sapphire or the case finishing.
- For
- Someone who wants one good-looking steel watch and is not chasing a mechanical movement.
- Not for
- Anyone who specifically wants something that ticks without a battery.
What we checked
- It is a 40mm steel case with 100m water resistance and a sapphire crystal, on a steel bracelet. Beaverbrooks
- It is powered by a quartz movement. Beaverbrooks
Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
