Cast Iron Frying Pan, 26cm
Staub · £120

Worth being NRY provisional
Enamelled cast iron at 26cm with two pouring spouts, oven safe and good on induction. Enamel is the answer to the one real objection to cast iron, which is that bare iron and tomatoes do not get on: you can build a sauce in this and leave it. It is heavy, and that is the point when you are searing something.
- For
- Someone who wants one pan that goes from hob to oven and handles acidic food.
- Not for
- Anyone who lifts a pan one-handed: enamelled cast iron at 26cm is a serious weight.
What we checked
- Enamelled cast iron with two pouring spouts, suitable for the oven and all hobs. Borough Kitchen
Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
