Virkelyst Outdoor 2-Seater Sofa
Skagerak · £2,999
Worth being NRY provisional
A solid FSC teak frame carrying deep cushions in Oeko-Tex certified fabric that is colourfast and mildew-resistant, left untreated so the teak goes silver. This is the only lounge seating here whose frame will outlive its cushions by decades, which makes it the only one you can re-cushion rather than replace. Skagerak are straightforward about the condition: the cushions come off easily and are meant to come in when it rains hard.
- For
- Someone who wants outdoor seating they will still be using, re-cushioned, in twenty years.
- Not for
- Anyone who will not bring cushions in. The frame tolerates neglect; the upholstery does not.

Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
