Virgin wool with ten per cent cashmere, built as an unstructured blazer with a centre vent and patch pockets, over high-waisted single-pleated trousers with horn buttons and waist adjusters. Unstructured means there is no padding holding the shoulder up, so it hangs off you like a cardigan and packs like one, which is either the point or the dealbreaker. Jacket and trouser sizes are chosen separately here, which solves the problem every fixed-drop suit has.
