A closed-back built to sound less closed-in than closed-backs usually do, which is the whole point of it: you get isolation in both directions without the boxed-in midrange that normally comes with it. That makes it the one pair here that works at a shared desk. £199 is the least you can spend in this category and still be buying engineering rather than branding.
