Pre-seasoned carbon steel at £30, and the right material at a fair price. Twenty-seven centimetres is the catch: it is a one or two portion pan, and a wok that is too full steams instead of frying, which is the thing you bought it to avoid. Fine as a second pan, cramped as a first.
