Samsung · £599
Worth being NRY provisional
65 inches for £599, with Pantone-validated colour and Samsung's Q4 processor. It is the biggest screen here by a long way at the price, and the trade is panel technology: this is QLED, so it goes brighter than the OLEDs and its blacks are not in the same conversation. In a sunny room that trade goes the right way.
- For
- Someone who wants the largest honest screen for the money and watches in daylight.
- Not for
- Anyone who watches films in the dark, where every OLED here will beat it.
What we checked
- Samsung have the colour reproduction validated by Pantone. Richer Sounds
Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
