Worth being NRY provisional
A bedside radio made of real veneer and machined aluminium rather than painted plastic, with Bluetooth so it doubles as a speaker. Ruark have iterated this one object four times instead of replacing it, which is why it is still the best answer to a question most makers stopped asking. £239 is a lot for a radio and it is the only one you will not want to replace.
- For
- Someone who wants a radio on a bedside table that looks like furniture.
- Not for
- Anyone wanting room-filling sound, because this is one small driver by design.
What we checked
- Ruark position it as a superior-quality radio with Bluetooth streaming. Richer Sounds
Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
