Champagne Glass
Richard Brendon · £96

Worth being NRY provisional
A champagne glass with an actual bowl rather than a narrow flute, which is the one varietal shape almost everybody should own. A flute preserves the bead and hides everything else; a tapered bowl lets a good champagne smell of something, which is the entire reason to buy a good champagne. If you own one specialist shape beyond a universal glass, this is the one that changes the drink most.
- For
- Anyone who buys champagne worth more than the flute it is poured into.
- Not for
- Somebody who likes the look of a flute at a party, which is a real reason.
What we checked
- Part of the mouth-blown collection. Richard Brendon
Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
