Bordeaux Glass
Richard Brendon · £96

Nice, but provisional
The taller, narrower companion to the burgundy, shaped for cabernet and the bordeaux blends, and made to the same standard by the same hands. The case for it is the same as the case against it: a shape this specific is excellent for one family of wine and merely fine for the rest. At ninety-six pounds a pair it is a second or third purchase rather than a first.
- For
- A cellar with a clear bias towards claret.
- Not for
- A cupboard that needs to hold one set of glasses and no more.
What we checked
- Part of the mouth-blown collection. Richard Brendon
Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
