The middle of Pelikan's Souverän range and the size most people should buy: a differential piston filler, a fourteen carat gold nib, and the striped barrel that doubles as an ink window. Pelikan's pistons are the best in the business and the reason the house exists. The M600 is the one that fits an ordinary hand, which the larger M800 does not always.
