Onoto are an English pen maker, which is a shorter list than it used to be, and the Magna is their large classic shape made in England rather than finished here. Four hundred and twenty pounds buys something made in small numbers by a house that supplied Shackleton and the Royal Navy, which is the kind of provenance this site exists to find. It is a big pen and it is meant to be.
