Odyssey Damascus Milled Two CH Golf Putter
Odyssey · £499
Nice, but provisional
A milled putter with a Damascus steel insert, which is pattern-welded steel of the sort used for knife blades and is here for feel and for looks in roughly equal measure. Four hundred and ninety-nine pounds is a lot for a putter and a putter is the club you use most, so the arithmetic is less silly than it sounds. The honest caveat is that no insert has ever been shown to hole more putts than a correctly fitted length.
- For
- Somebody who already putts well and wants the one they will keep.
- Not for
- Anyone hoping to buy their way out of three-putting.
What we checked
- A milled head with an Ai-designed Damascus steel insert. American Golf
Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
