LG · £999
Worth being NRY provisional
The C series at 48 inches for £999, which is £250 above the B and buys the better processor and the higher refresh handling. This is the one to pick if the television doubles as a monitor or a console screen, where the extra processing is doing visible work rather than cleaning up broadcast. In a small room it is close to the best picture money can buy.
- For
- Someone pairing it with a console or a computer as well as watching television on it.
- Not for
- Anyone who only watches films and would rather put the £250 into the sound.
What we checked
- LG position the C series as top specification at a smaller screen size. Richer Sounds
Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
