2 Slot Toaster
KitchenAid · £118

Nice, but provisional
An all-metal body with a chrome control knob at £117.95, and it is a handsome, solid object. What it does not have is Dualit’s replaceable elements, which at £23 more than the Architect is the comparison that matters: both will look good for a decade and only one of them can be mended when it stops working.
- For
- Someone matching a KitchenAid mixer and willing to pay for the set.
- Not for
- Anyone choosing on longevity, where the Dualit is cheaper and repairable.
What we checked
- A sturdy all-metal body with a chrome control knob. Harts of Stur
Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
