LSX II LT
KEF · £899
Worth being NRY provisional
A genuine active stereo pair with KEF Uni-Q drivers and streaming built in, which is a hi-fi system in two boxes and no amplifier. The LT is the cheaper version of the LSX II: it loses the HDMI input and some connectivity rather than the drivers, so the sound is the part they kept. At £899 this is the first thing on the page competing with separates rather than with other speakers.
- For
- Someone who wants a real system and has no interest in owning a box with knobs on.
- Not for
- Anyone who needs HDMI for a television, which is exactly what the LT removes.
What we checked
- KEF sell it as a complete versatile speaker system. Richer Sounds
Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
