Marlow, large 3 seater
John Lewis · £729
Worth being NRY provisional
£729 for a large three seater, which is less than half what anything else here costs and is the entry point to a sofa that is not disposable. Sharp lines and contrast tipping on the edges, which is the detail that stops a plain sofa looking cheap. At this money the filling will be foam rather than feather, and that is the honest trade.
- For
- Someone furnishing a first flat or a second room who wants it to look considered.
- Not for
- Anyone who wants a sofa to sink into: foam holds its shape and does not envelop.
What we checked
- John Lewis give it sharp lines, a sweeping shape and colour-contrast tipping. John Lewis
Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
