Standing desks

eFloat Go 2.0

Humanscale · £840

A white electric sit-stand desk with a slim rectangular top and a white frame.

Nice, but provisional

Humanscale build this quietly and carefully: anti-collision sensors, near-silent motors and a handset carrying both USB-A and USB-C so the desk charges your things while it moves. At £840 with a five year guarantee it is dearer than the Yo-Yo Pro 2 and covered for two years less, and it carries 99.7kg against the ProDesk's 125kg. You are buying the restraint and the engineering rather than the numbers.

For
Someone who wants a sit-stand desk that disappears into a room instead of announcing itself.
Not for
Anyone comparing on capacity or warranty, where cheaper desks here do better.

What we checked

  • Anti-collision sensors, quiet motors and a handset with USB-A and USB-C. John Lewis
  • A five year guarantee, and 99.7kg of maximum load. John Lewis
  • Two people are needed to assemble it. John Lewis

Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
