HAG · £2,320

Nice, but provisional
At £2,320 for the 9221 mesh back you get seat height and depth adjustment, an adjustable lumbar cushion and a chair that is genuinely lovely to sit in, with the leather version another £395 on top. What you do not get is a better warranty than the £684 Tion, because both carry the same ten years at nine hours a day. So a good part of this premium buys the mesh, the finish and the look rather than longer service.
- For
- Someone who wants a chair that looks like the room was designed around it and will keep it a decade.
- Not for
- Anyone buying on durability alone, who can have the same ten years for a quarter of the money.

Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
