Wool Windowpane Suit
Hackett · £900

Nice, but provisional
A windowpane check on the Savile Row Windsor block, in Italian wool with a natural stretch, finished with two-by-two working cuffs. A windowpane is the loudest thing most men will wear to an office and this is a restrained version of it. The stretch is in the cloth rather than added as elastane, which matters: it moves without the slight sheen that a synthetic gives a suit after a year.
- For
- Someone with the plain suits covered who wants one with a pattern in it.
- Not for
- Anyone who needs a suit for a funeral and a wedding and an interview. This is not that suit.
What we checked

Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
