Stretch Wool Flannel Prince of Wales Suit
Hackett · £750

It’s good, but we think this is better: the Cad & The Dandy navy flannel, £1,200 provisional
A Prince of Wales check in wool flannel on Hackett's Belgravia block, fully lined, with working four-button cuffs and buttoned back welt pockets on the trouser. Flannel is the right winter cloth, soft and warm and forgiving of a day at a desk. The two per cent elastane is the thing to weigh: it makes the suit comfortable from the first wear, and it is the part of the cloth that ages least gracefully.
- For
- Someone who wants a winter check suit off the peg today, in a size they can try on.
- Not for
- Anyone intending to keep this for a decade.

Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
