Beetle Outdoor Dining Chair
Gubi · £299
Nice, but provisional
GamFratesi's Beetle shell, redone in UV-protected recycled plastic for the garden. It is the most comfortable plastic dining chair here, because the shell is shaped round a back rather than pressed flat, and it carries a contract-furniture certification that most garden chairs do not. What you are buying at £299 is a recognisable silhouette; the material underneath costs a fraction of the teak alternatives.
- For
- Someone furnishing a courtyard or balcony who wants the indoor chair they already like, outdoors.
- Not for
- Anyone who equates £299 with solid wood. This is plastic, well made and well shaped.

Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
