Avon Oval Extending Teak Dining Table, 180-240cm
Garden Trading · £995

Worth being NRY provisional
An extending oval that runs 180 to 240cm and seats up to ten, with a 2.6cm top and mortise-and-tenon joints that are dowelled and pegged. That is cabinetmaking rather than flat-pack, and at £995 for sixty kilos of the highest-grade teak it is the best value in the category for anyone who actually entertains outdoors. The parasol hole has a brass sleeve, which is the small sign that somebody thought about the tenth year.
- For
- Anyone who hosts outdoors and is tired of a table that seats six and a half.
- Not for
- A small terrace. At 240cm extended with ten chairs round it, this needs a garden.

Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
