Bernadotte Electric Kettle
Georg Jensen · £209
Nice, but provisional
Georg Jensen applying the Bernadotte line, drawn by Sigvard Bernadotte in 1938, to a kettle, at £209. The silverware house pedigree is real and so is the finish. It is also the second most expensive kettle here with no temperature control, which means the £139 Zwilling Pro does more and the £120 All-Clad lasts longer.
- For
- Someone who already owns Bernadotte pieces and wants the set extended.
- Not for
- Anyone judging on what the kettle does rather than whose name is on it.
What we checked
- Georg Jensen pitch it as transforming a kitchen rather than on its function. John Lewis
Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
