Focal · £599
Nice, but provisional
Focal putting their driver engineering inside a wireless noise-cancelling shell, which almost nobody at this level does well. It is the best-sounding wireless pair here and it is also £599, which is £200 over the Px7 S3 and £440 over a pair of earbuds most people would be happy with. Worth it only if wireless is non-negotiable and you still want to hear the recording.
- For
- Someone who refuses to carry a cable and refuses to accept wireless sound.
- Not for
- Anyone who has somewhere quiet to listen, where £599 buys far more in an open-back.
What we checked
- This version is an all-black finish of the award-winning original. Richer Sounds
Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
