K9 Headphone Amplifier
FiiO · £449
Worth being NRY
A headphone amplifier and DAC in one box with twin ES9068AS converters, for £449. Combining the two is what makes this good value: buying them separately at this quality costs appreciably more and the second box buys nothing you will hear. Two reviewers rate it highly and the useful disagreement is about pairing rather than quality, with one finding it can turn shouty on the wrong headphones, so audition it with yours.
