Navy Compton Herringbone Cooper Suit
Favourbrook · £980

Worth being NRY provisional
Just under half linen, unlined, in a navy herringbone, made in Portugal. Taking the lining out is what makes a summer suit actually a summer suit rather than a lighter version of a winter one, and the wool in the mix is what stops the linen creasing into a rag by lunchtime. The trousers are single-pleated with side adjusters, so there is no belt breaking the line.
- For
- Someone who needs to look dressed at a June wedding and would rather not be miserable.
- Not for
- Anyone wanting one suit for the whole year. Unlined in February is a coat problem.
What we checked
- Fifty-four per cent wool to forty-six per cent linen, made in Portugal. Favourbrook

Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
