Superior Cotton Shirt
Emma Willis · £290

Nice, but provisional
Two-fold 100s Swiss poplin, yarn dyed, with the same single-needle stitching as their 120s. A hundred is a slightly coarser yarn than a hundred and twenty, which in practice means a cloth that is a shade less silky and rather more durable, and Swiss weaving is a real distinction rather than a flag on a label. At the same two hundred and ninety pounds as the finer poplin, this is the one to buy if the shirt is going to be worn weekly.
- For
- Somebody who wants the Emma Willis make in a cloth that will take the mileage.
- Not for
- Anyone buying for the feel alone, where the 120s is the finer cloth for the same money.

Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
