Charcoal 6.0L Oval Casserole
Emile Henry · £162

Nice, but provisional
Five point eight five litres in an oval, which is the largest dish in this category and the one that takes a whole bird in ceramic rather than iron. At £161.60 it is priced close to the 5.0 litre round for noticeably more room and a more useful shape. Same caveat as the rest of the line: the hob list does not include induction.
- For
- Someone roasting birds and joints on a gas hob who wants ceramic rather than iron.
- Not for
- Induction kitchens, and anyone who will not fill it.
What we checked
- It holds 5.85 litres. Harts of Stur
- Emile Henry list gas, halogen, electric and ceramic hobs, and a range from minus twenty to 450 degrees. Harts of Stur
Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
