Charcoal 5.0L Casserole
Emile Henry · £157

It’s good, but this is close and much better value: the Emile Henry Charcoal 4.0L Casserole, £119.20 provisional
Five litres of ceramic at £156.80, with the same freezer-to-450-degree range as the rest of the line and the same hob list that omits induction. The difficulty is its own 4.0 litre sibling: a litre less for £37.60 less, and four litres is enough for most tables. The step up is a lot of money for a small amount of stew.
- For
- Someone who regularly cooks for more than six and has a non-induction hob.
- Not for
- Most households, where the 4.0 litre is the better buy.
What we checked
- It holds 5 litres. Harts of Stur
- Emile Henry list gas, halogen, electric and ceramic hobs, and a range from minus twenty to 450 degrees. Harts of Stur
Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
