Burgundy 2.5L Casserole
Emile Henry · £78

Nice, but provisional
Two and a half litres for £78, in the red Burgundy clay the company is named for, and it will go from the freezer to a 450 degree oven. At this size it is as much a serving dish as a cooking one, which is half the point of ceramic. The hob list is gas, halogen, electric and ceramic, so induction kitchens should look elsewhere.
- For
- A small household who want something that comes to the table.
- Not for
- Induction hobs, and anyone who wants to brown meat hard before braising.
What we checked
- It holds 2.45 litres. Harts of Stur
- Emile Henry list gas, halogen, electric and ceramic hobs, and a range from minus twenty to 450 degrees. Harts of Stur
Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
