Rose of Taif and Cambodian oud with saffron in the middle, which is the serious end of the rose and oud genre rather than a gesture at it. Czech & Speake state a higher concentration of essential oils in this one than in the rest of the range, and it behaves that way on the skin. Rose and oud is a crowded category above £150 and this is a credible entry to it.
