Luxe Towel
Christy · £36

Worth being NRY provisional
Seven hundred and thirty grams per square metre of long-staple Turkish cotton, which makes this the heaviest towel here and the one that feels like a hotel. Long staple is the part that matters beyond the weight: longer fibres mean fewer loose ends, so it sheds less in the first month and goes fluffy rather than scratchy with washing. At £36 for a bath towel it is dear and it is the one to buy if a towel is a pleasure rather than a utility.
- For
- Someone who wants the enveloping, heavy towel and has the airing space to dry it.
- Not for
- A small flat with no radiator time. A 730gsm towel stays damp, and a damp towel smells.
What we checked
- Long-staple Turkish cotton at 730gsm, made in Turkey. Christy
Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
