Single Breasted Notch Lapel Suit in Brown Seersucker
Cad & The Dandy · £1,200

Nice, but provisional
Cotton seersucker, whose puckered weave holds the cloth off the skin so air moves underneath it, woven here with a little stretch and cut on the same hand-built floating canvas. It is the coolest thing in this category to actually wear and the least versatile thing to own. A muted brown is the sensible way to buy seersucker, which otherwise announces itself from across a lawn.
- For
- Someone with a summer of garden parties and a wardrobe that can carry a specialist.
- Not for
- Anyone counting suits. At £1,200 this is a lot of money for July.
What we checked
- Built by hand on a full floating canvas, with a hand-padded lapel and a soft shoulder. Cad & The Dandy
- A cotton seersucker woven with a slight stretch, for the warmest months. Cad & The Dandy
- The trouser is cut to a six-inch drop and left unfinished for tailoring. Cad & The Dandy
Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
