Standing desks

ProDesk

Back in Action · £745

An electric sit-stand desk with a plain top and a twin-motor steel frame.

Worth being NRY provisional

Twin motors, 125kg of capacity and a 65 to 132cm range, which is the most load and the lowest sitting height of any desk here. The detail that matters in a real study is the missing central beam, so a drawer pedestal goes under it, and the two portholes come as standard rather than as an upgrade. A programmable memory controller sets your two heights once.

For
Someone putting a desk in a room with a filing pedestal, or anyone loading it heavily.
Not for
Anyone who wants the desk to be good-looking as well as capable.

What we checked

  • A 65 to 132cm range on twin motors with 125kg of capacity. Back in Action
  • No central beam, so a pedestal fits underneath, and two portholes are standard. Back in Action
  • A programmable memory controller and automatic contact protection. Back in Action

Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
