BenQ · £2,199

It’s good, but this is close and much better value: the Hisense PX3-Pro, £1,799 provisional
A laser ultra short throw with HDR10+ and BenQ's Filmmaker Mode, on Android TV, sitting a quarter of the screen width from the wall. BenQ tune colour carefully and Filmmaker Mode is a genuine feature rather than a label, switching off the processing that makes film look like video. The limits are the ones that decide an ultra short throw: 2,500 lumens and a maximum picture of 120 inches.
- For
- Someone committed to BenQ colour handling who wants a 100 inch picture in a room they can dim.
- Not for
- Anyone wanting the biggest picture, or watching in a bright room.

Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
