£150 against a £229 list for the Swissline, which is the Deluxe with the full accessory set: the different blades are what turn one motor into a whisk, a beater and a mincer. Bamix pitch it at soup and it is genuinely the tool for that, because you put it into the pan rather than moving hot liquid into a jug.
