Nice, but provisional
QD-OLED at 4K and 240Hz, which is close to the most capable 27 inch panel made. The difficulty is the gap: the PA279CDV is also 4K OLED with the same 99% DCI-P3 and the same contrast ratio, at £649.99, and the £1,149 difference buys refresh rate above what most work needs. Spectacular, and a specification bought rather than used.
- For
- Someone who genuinely drives 240Hz, which in practice means a serious gamer who also edits.
- Not for
- Anyone working on documents and photographs, where the PA279CDV is the same panel technology.
What we checked
- 27 inch QD-OLED, 3840x2160, 240Hz, 99% DCI-P3. Scan
Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
