A 27 inch OLED monitor on a black stand, shown from the front.

Worth being NRY provisional

4K OLED at 27 inches, 120Hz, 99% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB, with the contrast ratio OLED gives and LCD cannot approach. At £649.99 this is where the category stops being about specifications and starts being about what a black actually looks like. The risk with any OLED on a desk is static interface elements, which is a real consideration for an eight hour working day.

For
Someone who works with images or film and wants contrast rather than more pixels.
Not for
Anyone leaving the same spreadsheet open for nine hours a day.

Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
