ProArt PA278CGRV
Asus · £259
Nice, but provisional
The same 27 inch QHD as the PA278QV with 144Hz instead of 120Hz, 97% DCI-P3 instead of 95%, and 400 nits instead of 350, for about £10 more. Those are real improvements and they are all small: nobody has ever noticed 120Hz becoming 144Hz without being told. Buy whichever is cheaper on the day, and do not pay a premium for the gap.
- For
- Someone choosing between the two ProArt 27s who finds this one at the same money.
- Not for
- Anyone paying a meaningful premium over the PA278QV for these numbers.
What we checked
- 27 inch IPS, 2560x1440, 144Hz, 97% DCI-P3, 400cd/m². Scan
Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
