Gamma+ XCeed Hair Clipper
Gamma+ · £240

Nice, but provisional
A motor with intuitive torque control that adjusts its own speed to the hair it meets, three hours of cordless running, and USB-C charging rather than a proprietary dock. Self-adjusting torque is the most genuinely advanced thing in this list and USB-C is the most quietly useful. Two hundred and forty pounds is the top of this category, and the gap to the clippers at a hundred and seventy is smaller than the gap in price.
- For
- A professional whose clipper earns its keep every day.
- Not for
- Home use, where the hundred-and-ten-pound clippers do this job well.

Marked provisional: the justification rests on 1 source(s); two independent ones is the bar. We publish it anyway and say so, rather than waiting for evidence that may never arrive.
